new home :)

well, lindsey and i are moving in! we have most of our stuff in the new apt already. its is SOOOOO pretty! i will have pictures up shortly. but for now i must go to work at "reflections". damn crops! JP is the MOD tonight though so all is good! praaaaaaaaaaise the Lord! :)

WE GOT THE APARTMENT!!!!! yes that is right, lindsey and i will have a place to live in 9 days :) praise the Lord! today was my first day at the law office and i love it! i don't have to talk to anyone and it is wonderful. i am waiting for something to go wrong though because so far it is just too good to be true. that is all :)

update

i got an A in my summer school class!!! howeer, lindz and i still don't know where we are going to live in 10 days but we are hoping the apts we really want will call us tomorrow. i got a new job today!! i am the filing girl for the attorney for Pantego. i have been waiting sooo long to get a filing job!!! i won't have to talk to anyone and i get paid $2 more/hour AND the best part, i get to wear JEANS to work!!! :) i know it sounds so boring but after working in a scrapbooking store for 3 years it makes you not want to talk to anyone because no matter what you do they will never be happy. i am sad to say though that i will be keeping my job at Recollections. i really think lindz and i will be there until we are 80. us and 1 other girl are the only ones who have been there since we opened. i would quit but i absolutely LOVE the people i work with, they are awesome! and the discount is good too :)

none

well lindz and i went apartment hunting for 4 hours today and found NOTHING! after we got home though we realized we are being entirely way too picky. so now we get to go back to some of those places with open minds. i withdrew from TWU today and paid for my TCC classes :) it feels so good knowing i won't be wasting 6 hours of the week driving to denton. praise the Lord! :) now we are hoping the apartments we really want have already gotten my school info from TWU and think that i am still a part time student....we'll see about that.

walking by faith

after all of this stressing about school and talking to my parents, friends and even friends parents, i realized the one person i have not talked to was God. i never turned to Him and asked Him what i should do. i have been looking for the answer and i feel like i have to have the answer right now but God doesn't want me to know it right now because then i wouldln't be walking by faith. these are some lyrics from a song i've been listening to by Trae Castles Band.

still stressed

lindz and i went to look at apartments this morning and all we found was the ghetto. we stopped by the apartments we REALLY want and they still need info from my school (which i have to be part time so we can have the apartments) and from lindsey's bank. one problem, i am planning on withdrawaling from TWU and go to TCC which will make me a full time student. :( BUT when i got home i had flowers from Eric :) however, on my way home from class today there was a note on my car that read "give me a call sometime -Matt (long hair, algebra class)" ummmm, no thanks! i feel bad but really? a note on the car is a little junior highish for me, AND i have a boyfriend! anyway, here i am now apartment hunting online while my dad keeps calling me every 5 min. trying to be my school advisor. we'll see how far he gets with this.

so bored

lindsey came home today!! but, she is being an old woman and is already in bed. it's 11:00 and i am not tired at all! i would watch tv but wait, we don't have cable! sucks being poor. i've been doing some online shopping lately and found some cool canvases for my room. i just love them! and ikea!! however, you do get what you pay for when you shop ikea. lindz and i are going apartment shopping in the morning, pray that we find a nice place!!

current mood: STRESSED

well today started out wonderful! i woke up, spent some time with Jesus, got ready for class, bought a new hat at target to wear today, went to class, got out early, picked up a dipped cone on the way home, then it all went down from there. my mom and i went to TWU to pay my tuition and on the way home i realized, why am i going to TWU? i still have some classes i can take at TCC so why should i drive so far? my mom freaked out and said i should be in a university setting to get ready for Baylor. i went home and figured out my schedule at TCC and decided to take all of my classes there but i ran into another problem. the apartment lindsey and i want is government subsidized and one of us has to be a part-time student.... :( now lidsey and i have to go find other apartments, but we really don't want to because these are PERFECT!!! really, what it all comes down to is what will bring more glory to the Lord. :)

welcome

well here i am, i never thought i would have a blog for myself. maybe its just because all of my friends are out of town and i am tired of packing the apartment and have nothing better to do. my cousins have blogs for their children and i have loved watching them grow up through this since i never get to see them. lately i have been reading Elsie Flannigan's blog and some people from her design team to get some inspiration for scrapbooking! i hope i actually keep up with this thing. but i'm not making any promises! :) here are some of the pages i have done sice i started scrapbooking again. i can't wait to make more when summer school is over. 3 more days!!! :)
